Hideki Kamezawa joined Showa Dojo in 1998 and has served as Dojo Head since April 2025. Aikido has no competitions and is not a martial art in which practitioners are ranked by winning or losing, so beginners can take part in practice with confidence. We provide an environment where students can continue training at their own pace while improving both mind and body. |
Naoyuki Sonobe began Aikido at university and continued training for several years at another dojo after graduation. He joined Showa Dojo in 2014 and has continued training here ever since. He has also practiced Judo since junior high school, and his Aikido is dynamic and powerful. He actively participates in training and seminars outside Showa Dojo and is always dedicated to studying techniques. His motto is “Ichigo Ichie” — treasure every encounter as a once-in-a-lifetime meeting. |
